Sadness all around...

Our heart has been heavy with the loss of our dear sweet friend Kelly. When the sadness lifts and we are ready to smile again I will start to post. Until then please keep his family, wife and daughter in your heart.

Mindy, my ya-ya, we will get through this, one step, one breath at a time. Just know that I love ya more then my luggage :)

Kelly, Rest in peace sweet friend. I am a better person for having known you. Thanks for all the smiles, belly laughs and happy memories. I love you and will truly miss you and think of you often. Just know I'll still be takin camera phone pics of all the crackpots, goofballs and jackasses and knowing you're laughing with me. And every time I request some kind of jacked up song like "We Are The World" or "Beat It" when the band is taking requests I'll hope you're getting a grin out of it. I'm pretty sure if you can find a way to prank call from heaven our phones will be ringing.

See you on the other side my friend.

Kelly Danaher

Beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend, born December 26, 1973 to Bob Danaher & Connie (Hargroder) Danaher; passed from his earthly life May 2, 2010 in Huffman, Texas. Kelly, “Coach” or “Uncle Kelly” as he was known by his family and friends was a big hearted, loving person who was always there for anyone who needed a kind word or a little encouragement. In his free time he loved to play drums and was a member of the Cecil McCrary Bad Behavior band. He loved to be outside whether it be fishing, hunting, or softball and even showing his talents as the master gardener. But most of all he enjoyed spending as much time as possible with his family whom he loved so dearly. He attended Hargrave High School, and, later Sam Houston State University where he graduated. He then pursued his passion as a teacher and educator in the Huffman School District as the physical education teacher at Sorters Mills Elementary. Here he did more then just teach, he touched the lives of his students and colleagues leaving a lasting impression that will always be treasured by those who knew him.
